The main features I would like to see added to the store are...

Storage Upgrades (This speaks for itself... MORE storage is always good)
Name, Appearance and Territory change (Credits?)

Adding the feature to change your name, appearance and territory would allow alot of existing users to make modifications to they're characters without having to delete them especially to those users that purchase 20+ slots in the near future, I think would be pretty profitable since I'm sure there are alot of users that want to make such modifications to they're current characters. Likewise territory change for those users that do it alot (for whatever reason) or that have used up all they're territory change credits.

Maybe handling the Name and Appearance change like the Territory Change method, purchase the features in the store and limited credits are added to your account to make those changes.

Just some suggestions

Personally i think it shoud be account upgrades only, such as:

Character slots
Directsong
Storage
access keys (such as the 2006 or goty edition)

and something else interesting, Higher Res Textures on Weapons+Armour in game.

things such as weapons, mini-pets etc should be left alone, Also character upgrades such as hair stylists should be added in game for a cost of gold/plat or as quest rewards only.

As much as i'd like to get the proph CE divine aura to go with my dancers i think it woudl undermine thhe idea of the CE and therefore should be left out. (if you realy want them then try and hunt down a sealed copy like i am XD)

UAX - seriously, thats a no brainer.

Promo / Pre-order only skinned weapons - I want a Battlepick....seriously >.< And since they are customized, they cant disrupt the in game economy.

Upgrade regular accounts to collector editions - Divine Aura plox!!!

More storage - er duh o.o

Customized Vanity Armors - More funny hats ^^ zero armor, customized to the account, non-sellable. Not useable in combat at all.

Campaign CD-Keys
Character Slots [done]
DirectSong Music Packs
Extra Storage
T-Shirts
Plushies
Action Figures
Posters
Mugs
Those cardboard standups so I don't have to beg the local EBGames for them

Things I don't want to see:

CE-specific content (Divine Aura, Backup Dancers, etc...makes the CEs less 'C'.)
Gold
Materials

That Store should ONLY sell:

access keys
extra slots
material storage for those who have only Prophecies
CE stuff (glowing effects etc)

and nothing else than that kinda stuff

no items at all NEVER, not even just a damn skin ....the economy is fu**ed up enough already

Anyway, that should be pretty obvious .. ONE damn gold coin or item in that store and everybody ll quit ...

i vote no more storage upgrades atm, personally. its unfair to request real-world money for something like that. Any storage upgrades should be handled like it already is. NO STORAGE UPGRADE!!!

Here's what I think should be offer from the ingame store:

-Character slots: already here
-Keys to upgrade from standard to special edition (divine aura, back-up dancers, etc.): meh
-Special Cokeplay type items (non-tradeable): meh, they're not so great
-Real life merchandise: i.e. plushies, clothing, mugs, posters, etc.
-Of course keys for preorder items and future campaigns
-Expansions to existing Chapters: I'm okay with, as long as they include a decent storyline, missions, quests, new races to play, and large areas (more than the SF update).

What should not be sold for real money:

-Auction houses: free global update
-Alternating character appearance: free global update
-Updating storage: free update like the material storage, which should have been global.
-New areas to current maps: free update like SF
-Materials/mods/armor/weapons
-Gold: who would be crazy enough to buy virtual gold with real money? -__-;

What I'm not sure of that should be offer:

-Storage slots: I really don't know what should be done about this, free global update or optional purchase with real money?

I'm all for out of game items like t-shirts, mugs and other nice stuff like that. Extra character slots would be nice too. Don't see the need for much else. UAX/UAS VERY BAD IDEA.

The REASON why people bot is that selling gold makes them money IF they can no longer sell it as ANET is doing it so cheap its not worth thier while NO MORE BOTS.

The longer games are live the more that suffer from inflation. The only way to stop this is A) Stop money comeing in (bad idea) B) Create GOOD enough money sinks that ensure enough money goes out of the system to compensate for the money comeing in (good idea but hard to do)

I can now see how in-game items can cause problems, but Propheces CE is selling for $90+ on Amazon, so divine aorura might be sold with out dirsupting the ingame economy, or the uniqueness off the aurora.

So any weapons, sheilds and focus items or any in-game stuff needs to be really tought about before they become purchaseable.

RL stuff, feel free to go wild!!!

Here are my ideas (many of which are repeats)

1) Sell collector green weapons (Coke/Pepsi/blah blah items)

2) Special emotes outside of the pvp ones

3) Special Pets - such as mini-oni or mini-candy corns or mini-MAD KING!!!!

4) Sell a bodyguard bot that would become your custom assistant in game instances.... kinda like a custom henchie with an assignable name. One that goes beyond what Nightfall is suggesting with NPC Henchies.

5) Expansions to pre-current chapter release, such as updates to Chpt 1 & 2 once Chpt 3 is released

6) I'm on the fence about ANet selling gold. There is no cost effective way for them to stop it on ebay.... I like the idea of adding an interest rate impact on the gold in storage.

7) Custom armor / colors / effects

8) Sharks with laser beams on their friggin' heads

9) Stuffed plush Fortune Teller doll that says things like 'Good! Good!' and 'Beware the Harvest Ceremony!'

GW clothing - dont know about you lot but when i was growing up the kids wearing clothing based on computer games got beat up alot..its your ass

EDIT: spike there is one gold sink they could add...a more exspensive version of FoW armor *im wearing flame proof clothing*

this adds a large gold sink to those that can afford, another lower end gold sink could be armor based have 50k armor instead of 15k or something along those lines..

I'd really like a more "themed" backround. With instead of my characters on a pedistal. Having them sit down in an "inn" type enviorment. Having them stand in different locations. Etc etc..

Horseman(the 2nd post in the thread) made the suggestion of more login screens which i agree with id love to see that.

-Purchasing of The Game(s) Soundtrack(s)
-Obviously more character slots (although i will not be purchasing any)
-Action Figures!
-T-Shirts (And other apparel)
-Posters, stickers, etc.
-Coffee Mugs!
-Guild Wars The Movie (You guys have to do this!!!)
-Guild Wars Candy (give us good tasting half-eaten masses or fruit snacks where we can eat Prince Rurik, Shiro, Mhenlo, and other things we get frustrated at!)

Thats all i can think of at the moment, good luck in sorting the store out I know its gonna be great!
